Staffordshire based Wedding Cake designer Helen Kent, the creative talent behind The Sugar Rose Cake Company creates unique and very beautiful cake designs from contemporary and modern wedding cakes through to the more classical and elegant designs for clients mainly in the Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire areas.

Every wedding cake we make is individually designed to suit your personal style and requirements. When it comes to choosing your decoration, the possibilities are endless. Wedding cakes can be made in any colour combination and variety of shapes and decorated with delicately handcrafted sugar flowers, intricate piping, modelling, pretty patterns, hand painting and much more.

With a solid reputation built on quality cakes and service, you can expect a friendly, professional and personal cake service from your initial consultation to delivery and set-up from The Sugar Rose Cake Company. We want to make your special day even more spectacular. That is why we only take one wedding cake order per week.

As part of our dedicated and committed service to you, we will liaise with your wedding florist, wedding photographer, wedding venue, dress makers and any other wedding services to ensure that we match colours, themes, styles and flowers. We will also talk to your bridesmaid, best man or nominated person during your big day to keep them up to date with the wedding cake progress should you choose.

The Sugar Rose Cake Company is renowned for outstanding sugarcraft flowers, which are considered indistinguishable from real flowers at their most beautiful. We can create sugarcraft flowers that match your bouquet in colour and style which can also be kept as a permanent keepsake of your special occasion or alternatively, they can be wired into an everlasting bouquet to include the same flowers as the bridal party.

Whether you are considering a one tier, two tier, three tier or four tier Wedding Cake or you are interested in wedding cupcakes, a cupcake bouquet, individual/mini Wedding Cakes or a novelty wedding cake such as a fairy castle wedding cake... as part of our Wedding Cake Service, we will discuss your cake ideas, designs and themes, whilst pouring over an extensive library of stunning bespoke cake designs. (By appointment only). 

Following your consultation we can offer the option to design your unique wedding cake electronically so that you can visualise your cake and share the image with your family and friends. This way you get to see your unique design and also get a chance to amend any aspect of your wedding cake well in advance of your special day, giving you confidence that the final design is nothing less than perfect. To reserve your wedding date, we will require a none refundable deposit of £50. The balance will then be due one month prior to your wedding date. At the time of booking the design, numbers and cake flavours of your wedding cake do not have to be decided as it's the date that you will be securing rather than the design. It is best to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
